Picking and packing kiwifruit is a great way to pay your way while travelling and to meet people from all over the world. There are plenty of great bushwalks and parks in the Te Puke area such as the Roydon Downs Bush and Farm Walks. With close to 7.000 people and a great variety of shops, cafes and industry, Te Puke is a fine example of a developing, bustling New Zealand town at only 20 minutes from Mount Maunganui and New Zealand's most beautiful sandy beaches.
